With the best variety of products on display ever seen at #DesignPopUp yet and a fantastic mix of new and old exhibitors, the Fourth #Manchester edition of the temporary showroom for the #specification market is shaping up to become our most successful show so far.
Domus' focus this year is on #Hospitality and #Bathroom settings and a set of new tile, wood, laminate and vinyl products that have been selected for their design characteristics and cost-effective price. Alongside this, they’ll be featuring products that have been curated for the #PRS market.
The tile products are grouped in a new collection: Essentials 2.0: A carefully crafted & cost-effective collection of ceramic and porcelain tiles in a wide selection of colours, sizes, finishes and formats suitable for both residential and commercial projects. Selected to create a design statement in any budget-conscious interior or exterior space.
National leading contract kitchen supplier Project Kitchens has expanded its Manchester showroom to display a wider range of products. Already the UK’s largest supplier of SieMatic to developers such as Audley Retirement, London Square, Muse Developments and Seddon Homes, Project Kitchens will be showcase the stunning #Beckermann kitchens at #DesignPopUp #Manchester this November.
Belinda Sewell, Managing Director comments, “Project Kitchens is known for its exceptional design capability, levels of service, accreditations and delivery. We are constantly innovating to broaden our offering to clients and in Beckermann we have found another perfect partner. They are a highly regarded German brand and provide the same bespoke service and attention to detail we insist upon for our clients".
Created in collaboration between Fagerhult, a Europe’s leading lighting manufacturer, and leading innovation consultants Above, #Skywalker has stretched the limits of cutting-edge engineering and production. The elegant luminaire has been designed to stand the test of time without compromising lighting quality.
By employing the latest LED technology and developing in-house LED boards the designers have been able to create a luminaire that measures only 36mm at its widest part and 11.5mm at its narrow top. Everything from LEDs to louvres to drivers and suspension brackets has been integrated within Skywalker’s slim casted aluminium body. The bespoke louvre creates a batwing distribution that casts a wide-ranging, harmonious and homogenous light. It produces exceptional uniformity, without dark-spots, while shielding and distributing the light to avoid glare.
"Close your eyes and picture the feeling of true comfort. Are you thinking of soft cushions piled upon other soft cushions?" That was the starting point for #KhodiFeiz as he responded to a brief that asked for an easily-positioned and comfortable armchair with generous proportions and a timeless character. The new #Pillo Chair was launched this year at the #Stockholm Furniture Fair. At #DesignPopUp Manchester, Swedese will also present the small #Pond tables by Monica Forster with lacquered wooden tops, never shown in the UK before.
The Meeting Pod
The Meeting Pod are thrilled to announce they will be exhibiting 3 members of their pod family at #DesignPopUp Manchester this year. They've had great success from launching their newly improved #OutdoorPod, so why not combine #MeetingPod, #Pod2 and Outdoor Pod and show off what the whole Pod family has to offer. All the meeting spaces utilise the ‘third space’ in an office environment, occupying a footprint which is 40% less than that of a meeting room.
“#DesignPopUp is the perfect exhibition to showcase a wide variety of our products ‘up north’, giving us the opportunity to highlight how versatile our pods are. Our Meeting Pod is the perfect meeting room substitution, with Pod2 being the faultless solution when installing banks of linked pods for the most efficient use of space, and our revamped Outdoor Pod allows for a brilliant escape from office life.”- Mike Dalloz, Managing Director of The Meeting Pod Company.
