It’s been a busy start to 2019 for the DPU team ahead of next week’s #DesignPopUp event running in the glorious city of Dublin.
Supported by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, #DesignPopUp Dublin is very excited to be showcasing incredible brands from all over Europe featuring the latest in their collections in the Emerald Isle. We are thrilled to welcome our old friends Crosswater, Baux, Blå Station and Schlüter, as well as extending a warm welcome to new exhibitors to the 2019 event in +Halle, Muraspec and Interface to name a few.
A full list of exhibitors can be found here:
The new 100% bio-based BAUX Acoustic Pulp panel is the first in the world to uncompromisingly combine the performance properties of sound absorption, safety and durability with sustainability and modern aesthetics.
Blå Station will be exhibiting items from their collection, including the award-winning Bob modular sofa system. This ingenious design allows the specifier to create multiple seating in straight lines, curves and circles, with or without backs - the possibilities for varied colours and materials are endless.
Austrian manufacturer Bene will also be back to #DesignPopUp, although in Dublin for the first time, and will be showcasing their highly versatile PIXEL family: come see how these new elements offer an even wider range of potential uses.
Their collections include the PIXEL Pod and PIXEL Tray, enabling even greater flexibility at different heights, and the PIXEL Wheel Tray for efficient storage and mobility.
#DesignPopUp longstanding partner Crosswater will be displaying the latest designs in their collection from the MPRO range, in particular, the stunning matt black slider enclosure. The established choice for high-quality bathrooms, MPRO delivers the very best in brassware engineering.
Two new finishes join the MPRO collection, Brushed Brass and Matt Black alongside the introduction of a stunning knurled detail, creating a bathroom that is as beautifully crafted as it is designed.
Danish furniture manufacturer HOWE is returning to Dublin with more timeless design pieces: they believe in the sense of movement; the idea that what they do is not only moving the levels of craftsmanship or the confinements within design but also the people who use it every day. This is why all chairs and tables from HOWE offer impeccable functionality. You can fold them. You can stack them, optimising the spaces in which we work.
James Latham's HI-MACS® - also at its second participation to DPU Dublin - benefits from the high-tech infrastructure and development-experience of LG Group who regularly bring stunning innovations to life. LG guarantees superior quality for all raw materials; the acrylic contained is produced by our own factories, certifying excellence from the source.
Schlüter presenting DITRA. The success of the company’s original uncoupling membrane, DITRA 25 has led to the development of specialist solutions to target particular tile and stone applications. Decades of proven use have made the distinctive orange DITRA 25 uncoupling membrane the unrivalled choice for specifiers looking to prevent cracks in tile and stone.
Swedese is a classic Swedish furniture producer manufacturing for both domestic and contract markets. Their easy-to-use ranges of furniture are always made from natural materials including exceptionally well crafted wood.
