Time & Location

29 Sept 2026, 13:00 – 13:40

Il Salotto, 20 Bell St, Glasgow G1 1LG, UK

About the Event

Elliot Tait (Head of Sales, Scotland) and Stuart Cottle (Head of Marketing) make the case for real wood over synthetic alternatives: certified sourcing back to 1985, when A&K became the first UK company to offer FSC; the embodied carbon a timber floor saves against something like LVT; and why a floor that can be sanded and refinished for 20 to 50 years is the better spec than one you replace every decade.

They'll also cover what it means for the room itself — air quality, acoustics, and the wellbeing case for a natural material underfoot.

13.00, Thursday 29 October, at Il Salotto. Free to attend.
