Best of #DesignPopUp Glasgow 2019

Well, what a fantastic time we had at The Briggait last week for our 6th edition of #DesignPopUp Glasgow! With our highest number of attendees to date, we are absolutely thrilled to have welcomed so many architects, designers, and specifiers from across Scotland.

We must show our appreciation and thanks to our partners 2-TJoiners, Benholm and Duraflor. With their help, the #DesignPopUp CPD area was a welcoming and interactive space to enjoy our panel discussions and presentations over the course of the event.

2-TJoiners craftsmanship and creativity for all the pieces on display, the seating and tables, and lectern within the CPD area was outstanding. The level of detail and care taken into creating the items showcased at #DesignPopUp is second to none. Raymond Clark and his highly skilled team of joiners, including technical staff use a wide variety of timber materials employing the latest techniques and equipment, taking you from the design stage right through to manufacturing and installation.

Benholm enhanced our CPD area with their spectacular range of planters, creating a nurturing and relaxing feel to the space through Biophilic Design. Keeping in theme with our talks, “Future Thinking in Workplace Design” and “Design for the Mind”, Benholm designed a very welcoming area for our guests to enjoy the presentations. The Benholm Group is known for its ability to produce innovative and creative displays that enrich any space. We are very grateful for their support of this year’s #DesignPopUp Glasgow.

Duraflor very kindly donated the beautiful carpet tiles used to floor the #DesignPopUp CPD area, creating a warm and welcoming space for our guests to relax and enjoy our scheduled talks, CPD’s and discussions over the course of the three days of our event. Creating distinctive and interesting arrangements, Duraflor offer a practical answer to any environment looking for a hard-wearing and durable flooring solution.

As always, we extend a special thank you to our exhibitors who work extremely hard to ensure the venue and displays look their very best. This year saw a mixture of old and new companies to the show.
