Thank you, Dublin - Slàinte!

The 3rd edition of #DesignPopUp Dublin couldn’t have happened in more challenging circumstances, and yet we are still very proud and satisfied with the outcome.

We would like to deeply and sincerely thank our exhibitors, visitors and speakers for their support: we still had a productive time during the two days in Ireland, and – considering the circumstances – a very successful event.

We must show our appreciation for our fantastic exhibiting companies’ efforts in helping to create a fabulous exhibition for our guest architects, specifiers and designers to enjoy.

We are also very grateful to all of you that came to support us and enjoyed the Parmesan and Prosecco party with us. We hope you enjoyed the Oysterman that we brought over from Scotland and the delicious food prepared by our catering company, as well as the live music played by our fantastic saxophonists Mark Wilde.

Come back next year for more!

#DesignPopUp is the most effective way to share your products with the A&D community

Last but not least, we would like to also thank the amazing speakers that joined us in Dublin. Patrick Arends, Head of Hospitality, Leisure & Culture at HLM Architects, presented his predictions of the up and coming trends in hospitality design for this year. We were delighted to find out that pink is a firm favourite for some time to come.

Moreover, the panellists for the “Green Consumerism And Its Impact On Design” talk made for some thought-provoking discussion. Sustainability Consultant, Müge Karaşahin of Meehan Green and Interior Designer, Anne-Marie Saul-Rotne of Saul Design challenged our preconceptions of what the future design industry may look like when encompassing the new awareness of green consumerism and, what that means for architects and specifiers, and their future designs.
